In an effort to provide as much advance notice as possible, today's release of Incident Response will be the last planned release of Incident Response on the 4.X.X version. The next planned release of Incident Response will be 5.X.X. The upcoming release requires a minimum Windows Tanium client version of 6.0.314.1396 in order to maintain full functionality.

Support for Live Response across Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems will ship with Incident Response version 5. Live Response is meant to replace the current IR Gatherer solution. Upon this release, IR Gatherer will be removed from the Tanium Solutions page and will only receive emergency security or bug fixes when deemed necessary on a case-by-case basis.

Customers with Windows client version less than 6.0.314.1396 or currently using IR Gatherer should consult your Technical Account Manager (TAM) to establish an upgrade plan and/or incorporate Live Response into your existing workflows.
